Barosi
Barosi is a unique food brand rooted in Bharat’s traditions. It offers organic products like ghee, honey, oils, and pickles. The brand’s story is built on the simplicity of rural life and the rich flavours of locally sourced ingredients. With a focus on sustainability and transparency, Barosi connects urban consumers with the wholesome goodness of India’s local farms.
THE ASK
Barosi approached us with a request to create two emotionally engaging Diwali ad videos. The goal was to break the common regifting cycle, by promoting the idea of giving personalized gifts that mean something from the heart, preventing them from being passed on casually.
The first concept was to be set in a home environment, while the second would focus on an office or corporate setting. The primary aim was to boost brand awareness and establish an emotional connection with their audience, while also driving traffic to their website and increasing sales during the Diwali season. The target audience was urban, middle-to-high-income individuals aged 25-45 years in Tier 1 cities, and the videos were to be between 40-60 seconds long.
THE EXECUTION PROCESS
After receiving Barosi’s initial brief, we began writing the script, carefully aligning it with their vision and the concepts they wanted to showcase in the ads. Once the script received approval, we moved on to the next stages—creating the storyboard, scouting suitable locations, and finalizing the cast and crew who would help bring their vision to life. Each step was meticulously planned to ensure the emotional essence and key messages of the campaigns were captured perfectly.

The shoot for the Barosi Diwali ad campaigns was completed in a single day at a studio in Noida, with two sets of actors for the corporate and home settings respectively. We also handled the set design to ensure each scene embodied the right atmosphere—corporate professionalism for one, and a homely warmth for the other.
In the home video, a couple, frustrated with unwrapping regifted items, stumble upon a unique Barosi gift box, complete with an emotional note from a relative. In the corporate video, a senior and junior colleague face a similar dilemma when they come across a Barosi gift box from a retired ex-boss.
Time was of the essence for this project – the campaign had to go live on a specific date to meet the Diwali gifting cycle – so everything from storyboarding, to casting, to editing, was done speedily.
We delivered both ad films rapidly, making sure they matched Barosi’s vision and goals. We also took care of the administrative tasks like contracts and payments, so that Barosi could focus on beefing up their supply chain and prepare for the festive season, rather than having to focus on video project management.

While production houses are aplenty, IndieVisual takes a unique tech-and-network-optimization approach towards meeting brands’ digital video needs. This allows us to be quick, effective, and professional in our approach, and also deliver video projects all across India.
THE RESULT
We delivered two emotionally resonant ad films that captured the essence of the brand and the spirit of Diwali. This is our third project with Barosi. Once again, we feel happy to have met their expectations. It’s always a pleasure working with Barosi, and we look forward for more great projects together in the future.
Durlabh Rawat, founder of Barosi, expressed his immense satisfaction with the video campaign: “This campaign was very special for us, and there’s no one we would trust more with our ad budget than IndieVisual. Besides taking care of every step in the process, they’re also quick!”
