Launching G Shower: A Product Film for TOTO India

TOTO offers a wide range of premium bathroom products, including toilets, washbasins, showers, and fittings. The brand places strong emphasis on comfort, reliability, and thoughtful design. It combines Japanese innovation with products that feel practical and elegant in everyday use. In India, TOTO has grown steadily by delivering premium bathroom solutions that blend advanced technology with comfort across homes, hotels, and commercial spaces.
The Ask
TOTO India was launching a new luxury shower product, G Shower, at a brand event. They required:
A 5-minute product ad for the launch
6 down cuts (30–60 seconds each), highlighting individual technologies and features
The objective was to educate and create awareness about the product, with a clear focus on women users and the advanced technology behind the shower.

The films needed to:
Appeal to channel partners and architects
Reflect an Indian context
Stay aligned with TOTO’s existing global brand films
Meet the approval standards of the Japan Head Office
Be delivered within tight event-driven timelines

The Execution
We handled the project end-to-end, from concept development to final delivery.
Pre-production involved concept creation, scripting, and detailed storyboarding to ensure clarity, brand alignment, and smooth approvals across teams.
At the concept stage, we built the film around a 7-day shower routine of a working woman. The idea was to keep it relatable, practical, and rooted in everyday life. Each day reflected a different work schedule, energy level, and mood. The storytelling showed how the versatile modes, technology, and features of the G Shower adapt to daily needs.

It highlighted how the shower helps users refresh, reset, and restore after long or tiring days. This approach helped us showcase multiple features in a natural way, without the film feeling technical or forced.
The shoot took place in a studio in Gurgaon over 2.5 days:
1 full day was dedicated to constructing a premium bathroom set with TOTO fixtures.
The entire shoot was completed in 1.5 days with a crew of nearly 50 people.
Completing a high-finish set in just one day and executing a shoot within such a tight schedule was one of the most challenging aspects of the project. Careful planning and on-ground coordination helped us manage it smoothly.
Post-production was carried out on priority to meet the launch deadline, with close attention to pacing, visual polish, and technical accuracy. A female voiceover was used to complement the storytelling, along with clean text overlays and subtitles for clarity. A subtle background score was added to support the narrative.
